Economic Interest Grouping "Croatian Banking Association" was founded in Zagreb on October 15th, 1999. Thirteen major Croatian banks founded the Association as an independent, professionally run institution with the goal to promote and defend interests of its members and the banking industry as a whole. The Association will adopt a Banking Code of Conduct and will invite other Croatian banks to join as associate members.
