American Bank is a regional bank established to support the communities in which it is
located. There are five American Bank locations in the State of Montana: Big Sky, Big
Timber, Bozeman, Livingston and Whitefish.
The Board of Directors of American Bank recognized the Bank's continuing and affirmative
obligation to help meet the credit needs of the communities it serves, including low and
moderate income neighborhoods.
The basic loan policy of American Bank is to establish credits which will assure
fulfillment of the Bank's responsibility for keeping its depositors' money safe for
earning sufficient income to provide adequate return on its capital, and for enabling our
communities and trade areas to grow and prosper.
