An authentic antique is a motor vehicle manufactured more than 25 years ago, which has

Classic:
A classic is a motor vehicle, but not a reproduction, manufactured between 1930 and 1950,
which has been maintained or restored to a condition which is substantially in conformance

1972. Modern classics are cars built between 1972 up to 15 years old.

Underwriters Association (IRUA)
Founded in 1967, the IRU today consists of nearly 60 member companies engaged in the
assumption, placement, or purchase of property/casualty treaty reinsurance. In October of
1993, the IRU expanded its membership to include reinsurance intermediaries in addition to
its broad spectrum of professional reinsurers and assumed reinsurance departments of
multiple line carriers. Approximately 25% of the current membership are intermediaries. In
September 2002, the IRU expanded its membership to include ceding reinsurance departments.
While all IRU members operate principally in the U.S. reinsurance market, some are active
in international reinsurance markets as well.
The IRU is a not-for-profit corporation, organized for the purposes of reinsurance
education and research and the dissemination of information relevant to the reinsurance
industry. The IRU does not speak on behalf of its membership on industry issues nor does
it engage in lobbying.
The IRU holds two working conferences each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. In
addition, claims and/or underwriting educational symposia are planned in the interim.

January 4, 1905 and operated in the United States and Canada.
The Monmouth Insurance Company was incorporated and licensed in New Jersey in 1963 and was
merged with IFIC in 1964. The Company was licensed in six states. At the time of merger,
IFIC gave up its Canadian license.
The company is licensed in fifty states, Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C. and is on the
United States Treasury's List of Approved Sureties.
The Home Office is located at One Newark Center, Newark, New Jersey with regional
locations in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Dublin, Little Rock, Nashville,
Philadelphia, Tampa and Walnut Creek. A representative is also retained in Cleveland.
